Item No. 92420
winemaker's notes:

Color: Intense and brilliant dark cherry.

Nose: Tightly packed and elegant, with complex aromas that pleasantly combine ripe stone fruit (cherry) with fresh berries, especially blackcurrant.

Palate: A very smooth and full-bodied attack. Ripe fruit (cherry, blackcurrant) is immediately apparent, with powerful tannins. Remarkable overall balance. A generous and pleasant finish, sustained by attractively lingering flavors.

I would buy this wine again

This wine is solid...somewhat harsh..readily available in 1.5 lt size for about $15. Good for daily imbibing but would try others for company.

I would not buy this wine again

Not very flavorful, harsh and "alchohol-ish".

I would buy this wine again

This is a wonderful Bordeaux for the price. You just can't beat it. Smooth, drinkable, goes with a variety of meat and pasta dishes.

Screw Cap wine
Screw Cap
Many studies report and winemakers agree that screw caps protect wine better and preserve its flavor more effectively than cork. More importantly, screw caps eliminate cork taint caused by TCA, a compound which develops in a small percentage of corks and ruins the taste of wine.
