All the scorching power you could hope for, with pure tube tone.

Look inside the Fender Twin Amp and you can see 'em in there, glowing with that warm, rich, physical juice — a broad river of power to carry your guitar's tone. We're talking 100% tube signal path running 100 huge watts. We're talking classic Fender tone with tube reverb and tremolo. A pair of the same 12" Eminence speakers found on the '65 Twin Reverb crank out bell-like tones from the Blackface-style normal channel and thick, bold lead sounds from the overdrive channel. 1/4-power switch lets you cook without blasting the walls down. Effects loop and 4-button footswitch included.

Fender Twin Amp 100-Watt All-Tube Guitar Amp Features:

I was never quite sure about the dirty channel on this amp until, I tried THIS: #1 Roll the GUITAR VOL. DOWN to 3-6. #2 now you can SAFELY crank the AMP vol. to around 7. #3 switch to NECK pickup (experiment starting with neck pu) #4 amp gain & amp EQ to taste. PRESTO - one of the BEST tube amps I have ever played for Indie, classic, blues. I found the guitar vol trick out and now I am completely happy about the dirty channel on this amp *Let's clear up that if you play metal, you need to look at another tube amp or you need a great dist. pedal and just use it thru the clean channel ( wasting alot of the amp's potential IMO )

WOW! I was looking at amps today and plugged into a lot of fender tube amps and checked out an ac30. Usually when I review things I am pretty cynical but the only bad thing I can say about this is its not for metal or modern hard rock. If you play alternative rock, classic rock, indie rock, country, or blues then this is probably the best amp you can get, ever, period. For my style of music the only effect I would add would be delay/echo and an extra overdrive to quickly change from slight distortion to heavy. My pedalboard would shrink signifigantly because the tremolo, overdrive, and reverb on this unit are simply phenominal, and the footswitch allows you to control the reverb and tremolo in addition to the overdrive channels, something I definetly do not expect on most tube amps. I cannot say enough good things about this amp. Just do yourself a favor and order one.

From crisp cleans to ear splitting crunch, my Evil Twin screams with plenty of real spring reverb. I gave up lugging my half stack for this bad boy but didn't give up any power or tone. It takes the biggest of venues to even use full power and I end up using 1/4 power in most clubs. I will kill for my Evil Twin.

I've been playin through a Roland Jazz Chorus for the past several years. Wow, what I've been missing! Love the channel switching option and having the verb and trem on both channels is cool. What power this thing has and clean sound all the way through. I love this amp. I play my tele through it and they are made for each other. I was also blown away with it's sound with my acoustic-electric. No looking back now! Buy it!!!!

Wow, I played this at the nanaimo blues festival today and I was amazed! They supplied amps there and they had a Vox AC-30,Fender Blues Deluxe,Fender Blues Junior, and this amp. I'm glad I chose to plug into this bad boy. I was expecting not very good overdrive on it but wow! The overdrive is smooth and creamy. Think ZZTop type tone. Our set was red house,c.o.d.,crossfire,give me one reason, mary had a little lamb, blue on black, kings highway and 32 blues. This amp pulled them off with no problems at all. I boosted it with a TS9 and yet again WOW. If I could afford It I would buy it but seeing Im only 14 that wont happen for a while. But I would reccomend this to anyone looking for smooth overdriven tones and a suttle clean.
